Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a dedicated Store Maintenance Associate to help maintain guest safety, store cleanliness, and overall appearance. You will perform cleaning tasks, stock areas, and respond to sanitation needs to ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with trash collection, cleaning cases and displays, mopping floors, and reporting maintenance needs to store management.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outward-facing personality required.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Able to lift 25 lbs constantly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

• Physically able to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull, and endure outdoor elements.

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and co-workers.
• Gather and empty trash throughout the store as needed.
• Clean various cases and floor displays throughout the store.
• Clean up spills, sweep, and mop as needed.
• Maintain a neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain and organize backroom supply areas.
• Maintain & clean all guest seating areas.
• Maintain & clean host breakroom.
• Maintain & clean restrooms.
• Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area.
• Maintain a clean and visually appealing parking lot and store entrance.
• Clean doors, windows, glass, store fixtures, shelving, and racks as needed.
• Performs front-end duties as necessary to ensure “no noticeable wait” standard is upheld and maintained.
• Communicates maintenance needs to store management.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
