Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Cleaner to perform basic cleaning across common areas, restrooms, and entryways. The role includes operating cleaning equipment and following safety policies on site in Morrisville, NC.

Multiple shifts and hours—full-time, part-time, and seasonal—are available. Eligible candidates should have at least 1 year of cleaning experience, strong communication, and reliable transport to job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job (bending, kneeling, lifting, standing)

Responsabilités

• Responsible for all basic cleaning in common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, and walkways.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms and break rooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins; dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Attend to flooded areas and related clean-up tasks as needed

A day in the life:

A Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. We have multiple shifts available as well as both full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

What you’ll do as an Exceptional Team Member

• Responsible for all basic cleaning
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns
