Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Cleaner in Mesa, AZ to perform janitorial tasks across our facilities. You will clean common areas, restrooms, entrances, floors, and windows, using appropriate equipment to maintain a sanitary environment.

The role requires 1 year of experience preferred, dependable transportation, and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods. We offer multiple shifts with full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities, at USD 19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.

• Ability to perform physical tasks (bending, lifting, standing).

Responsibilities

• Perform basic cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways and other assigned areas.
• Clean, sanitize, restock restrooms and break rooms; empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and operate cleaning equipment.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies; report maintenance issues.
• Attend to spill clean-up and related cleaning duties as needed.

A day in the life:

A Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. We have multiple shifts available as well as both full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.

What you’ll do as an Exceptional Team Member

• Responsible for all basic cleaning
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean‑up work for trash and restroom concerns
