What You’ll Be Doing

As a Medical Office Cleaner, you’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients, providers, and staff.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Medical office cleaning and sanitation
• Cleaning and disinfecting exam rooms, procedure rooms, and patient areas
• Cleaning waiting rooms, reception areas, offices, break rooms, hallways, and common areas
• Thorough restroom cleaning and restroom sanitation
• Disinfecting high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, counters, and chairs
• Restocking paper products, soap dispensers, hand sanitizer, and other supplies
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, vents, ledges, and baseboards
• Cleaning glass, mirrors, windows, doors, and entryways
• Sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Emptying trash and recycling containers
• Following infection control and healthcare cleaning procedures
• Safely using commercial cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
• Following OSHA and workplace safety procedures
• Respecting patient privacy and the confidential nature of a medical office
• Following cleaning schedules and quality standards
• Reporting maintenance or safety concerns
• Working independently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
