Job summary

Guardian-Cleaners is seeking cleaning staff to maintain the cleanliness of locker rooms and restrooms at a local fitness club. Duties include dusting, mopping, window cleaning, trash disposal, and daily sanitation under supervision.

The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds, ability to bend and reach, and professional communication with customers. Wages depend on location and experience across multiple sites in the area.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• Comfort working in a fitness-club environment.
• Good communication with customers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of locker rooms and restrooms in a local fitness club.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and sanitize surfaces as directed.
• Clean windows and dispose of trash daily.
• Disinfect areas per supervisor instructions and report deficiencies.
• Document cleaning tasks using daily checklists.

• Maintaining the overall cleanliness of locker and (male/female) restrooms of a local fitness club
• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restrooms and any other designated area by supervisor
• Window cleaning
• Complete cleaning/sanitizing of restrooms
• Gathering and disposing of trash
• Cleaning windows, if needed
• Disinfecting areas, as directed by supervisor
• Potential cleaning areas that contain bodily fluids (ie. Blood, vomit)
• Daily activities may include bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching above head for items, pushing and pulling janitorial cart
• Lifting up to 25 pounds
• Notify supervisor of deficiencies or repaired required
• Stock and maintain cleaning supplies
• Utilizing supplies to avoid waste
