Job summary

Walmart in Vidalia, GA is seeking a dedicated maintenance associate to keep the store clean and safe. Responsibilities include cleaning the sales floor, restrooms, breakrooms, and parking areas, and maintaining sanitation throughout the facility.

The role also involves promptly addressing spills and safety hazards, operating floor scrubbers and other janitorial equipment, and monitoring supplies to replenish chemicals and cleaning products as needed.

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance: Clean and sanitize all areas, including the sales floor, restrooms, breakrooms, and parking lot.
• Spill and Safety Response: Promptly respond to maintenance calls for spills, glass breakage, and other hazards to ensure customer and associate safety.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain floor scrubbers, sweepers, and other janitorial equipment.
• Supply Management: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, and store chemicals properly according to company guidelines.
