Job summary

Unifi Aviation LLC is seeking a Janitorial Agent to join our aviation ground services team. The role requires 1 year of relevant experience, with paid training provided and immediate hiring. Expect rotating shifts and full-time hours with benefits after onboarding.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms and floors, replenishing supplies, and safely handling cleaning solutions. Must meet local residency and work authorization requirements, plus pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be a local (in-state) resident and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass up to a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have work authorization to work in the United States as defined by law.
• Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize windows, restrooms (toilets, sinks & mirrors), surfaces, and trim.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, shampooing or vacuuming.
• Replenishes supplies within bathrooms and inventory rooms.
• Emptying trash cans or recycle bins.
• Prepare cleaning solutions to include mixing solution in containers in a safe manner, and in accordance with chemical specifications.
• Lift and carry cleaning equipment, cleaning trays and cases of supplies to service the area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.

• Experience: One+ year of relevant experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
• Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
