Job summary

Es Vedra Cinemas is hiring a Janitorial team member to keep theaters, lobbies, and restrooms clean and sanitary at our cinema venues. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, and help maintain a welcoming environment across locations.

We value teamwork, hospitality, and reliability. Must be 18+, hold a HS diploma or GED, and be able to work holidays, nights, and weekends with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED Certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors and carpets
• Empty all trash and recycling receptacles at venue
• Maintain cleanliness of each theater
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
• Clean and dust all surfaces including counters, game machines, tables, bowl area, etc.
• Apply wax to coat floors, buff and apply sealant as needed
• Clean and service all restrooms

Job Description

The Janitorial position is responsible for cleaning the building, removing debris and keeping all areas neat and sanitary at the venue.

Job Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and/or vacuum floors and carpets
• Empty all trash and recycling receptacles at venue
• Maintain cleanliness of each theater
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors
• Clean and dust all surfaces including counters, game machines, tables, bowl area, etc.
• Apply wax to coat floors, buff and apply sealant as needed
• Clean and service all restrooms

Required Skills

• Able to take direction and work together as a team
• Hospitality-minded attitude; friendly, outgoing and guest focused a plus

Education & Experience

• HS Diploma or GED Certification
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling and/or climbing stairs
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at timesMust be comfortable performing repetitive cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping and wiping surfaces
