Job summary

ALCOM is seeking a Janitor to maintain a clean, safe manufacturing environment in Bonner-West Riverside, MT. You will clean restrooms, offices, and common areas, sweep and mop floors, and dispose of waste daily to support efficient operations and employee well-being.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and prior janitorial or industrial cleaning experience is a plus; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; valid attendance and reliability are essential.

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe manufacturing environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces; dust equipment and fixtures.
• Maintain janitorial supplies and report inventory needs.
• Follow safety guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Support special cleaning projects as needed (deep cleaning, spill cleanup).
• Maintain organized janitorial storage areas.

Position Summary

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This role ensures production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards to support efficient operations and employee well-being.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and properly dispose of waste.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and surfaces
• Dust equipment, ledges, and fixtures.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and report inventory needs.
• Follow safety guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Support special cleaning projects as needed (deep cleaning, spill response, etc.)
• Maintain organized janitorial storage areas.

Safety Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Properly handle and store chemicals
• Maintain awareness of forklift and equipment traffic in production areas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous janitorial or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable with good attendance
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to work in an industrial environment with dust, noise, and temperature variation.

Work Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday thru Friday 7:0 am -3:30 pm
