Job summary

Marcus Theatres Corporation in Fargo, North Dakota is seeking a part-time Janitor to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and basic maintenance of Century Cinema and surrounding areas.

You will work during non-operating hours, handle floors, restrooms, waste, and light building repairs, and report major issues to theater management. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced team environment.

Job description

Broad Description of Duties:

Under the direction of the theatre management team, the Janitor is responsible for the cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of the theatre and building surroundings.

This position reports to a member of the theatre management team or General Manager.

Essential Functions/Job Duties:

• Clean the facility during non-operating hours to prepare for the day
• Sweep, mop, or vacuum building floors
• Collect and take out garbage from building
• Clean restrooms and stock them with supplies
• Clean spills and other hazards with appropriate equipment
• Wash windows, walls, and glass
• Make minor building repairs
• Notify managers when a building needs major repairs
• All other light maintenance duties, as needed and assigned by the theatre management team or General Manager.
