Responsible for cleaning buildings and facilities to ensure their safe and healthy maintenance.

Clean offices, lobbies, conference rooms, restrooms, and breakrooms. Mop tile areas and concrete floors. Vacuum all carpeted areas. Dust furniture and fixtures as needed. Wash and disinfect all floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers, and restroom fixtures. Clean all mirrors. Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, soap, chemicals, urinal screens, etc.

Empty all trash cans and wastebaskets. Dispose of trash in the exterior dumpster. Clean entrances and exits, including glass, doors, and hardware. Keep the outdoor area near entrances and exits free of snow, cans, paper, etc.

Clean, wash, and disinfect drinking fountains; wipe off all fingerprints from walls, doors, hardware, and glass; report maintenance repairs; clean sinks and countertops in kitchens and breakrooms; report damage and acts of vandalism; clean restroom walls and partitions; secure storage areas; ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored safely and neatly; maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies; restock materials and supplies; note the need for equipment repairs; maintain janitorial areas and cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe and orderly manner to ensure the safety of staff and the public; perform other related duties as needed.
