The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a facilities janitor to maintain cleanliness across offices, lunchroom, and restrooms. The role includes operating cleaning machinery and ensuring a safe environment for staff, visitors, and vendors.

Primary tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restocking supplies, and basic floor care. A bonus may be offered based on performance; benefits include health options and paid time off.

Formación

• Must have at least 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Experience using floor stripper/scrubber and carpet cleaning machines.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and proper storage knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Sweep and mop all common area floor surfaces.
• Vacuum all office areas.
• Dust and sanitize all surfaces including countertops and restrooms.
• Maintain and replenish paper products, hand sanitizer, and soap.
• Empty trash receptacles in lunchroom, training room, restrooms, and offices.
• Maintain all cleaning supplies.
• Carpet cleaning and floor waxing as needed.
• Run the floor scrubber on tile floors.

The position is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the facility including office areas, lunchroom, and restrooms. This position supports maintaining a clean and safe work environment for site employees, visitors, and vendors.

Additional Information

Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 8:30 AM Start Time, 4-5 hours/day

This position will be located in the Arch building.

This position is also eligible for a bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans.

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors.

• Sweeping and mopping all common area floor surfaces
• Vacuuming all office areas
• Dusting and sanitizing all surfaces including but not limited to countertops, tables, chairs, lockers, restrooms
• Maintaining and replenishing all paper products, hand sanitizer units, and hand soap units
• Empty trash receptacles throughout the lunchroom, training room, restrooms, and office areas
• Maintaining all cleaning supplies
• Carpet cleaning and floor waxing as needed
• Running the floor scrubber on the tile floor

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Have at least have one (1) year of janitorial experience
• Have at least have one (1) experience using floor stripper/scrubber machine and carpet cleaning machine
• Have at least have one (1) year experience with using a variety of cleaning chemicals
• Have at least have one (1) year experience using various cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, and vacuums
• Have at least one (1) year of experience in chemicals with storing knowledge of OSHA regulations
