Job summary

ESFM USA in Loves Park, IL is seeking a part-time janitor. Location: Perfetti – 5500 Forest Hills Road, Loves Park, IL 61111. Weekend shifts available: Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. No experience required; training provided.

Keep buildings clean, perform heavy cleaning duties, and adhere to infection control guidelines. This role offers a fixed pay rate of $17.00 per hour and a pathway to learn cleaning procedures and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• No experience required; willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning; return to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas with approved materials; sanitize surfaces.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards to maintain a clean environment.
• Follow eight-step cleaning procedure and strict guidelines.
• Take initiative to identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks."
• Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to the team with professionalism at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitizes all surfaces. Follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
