Job Summary

The Janitor will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This role involves routine cleaning duties, handling waste, and ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
• Maintain and clean floors, including vacuuming carpets and polishing hard floors.
• Clean and sanitize office equipment, including telephones, keyboards, and other surfaces.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used and stored properly.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor or facilities manager.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond to urgent cleaning requests and special cleaning projects as needed.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintenance to ensure consistency and efficiency.
