Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a dedicated custodial team member to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The role involves routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, and public areas, plus replenishing supplies and ensuring sanitation throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate has custodial experience, knowledge of cleaning chemicals, and availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays. You will work on-site at the facility, contributing to a pleasant guest experience and club

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals and proper handling.
• Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean club floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Refill restroom dispensers including locker rooms.
• Clean and sanitize toilets, showers, benches and sinks.
• Gather and empty trash from all club locations.
• Clean windows, glass and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours.
• Order supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Keep club in clean and orderly condition. Perform detail cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing waste.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean club floors by sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming
• Refill all restroom dispensers including locker rooms
• Clean and sanitize all toilets, showers, locker room benches, and sinks
• Gather and empty trash from all locations of the club
• Clean windows, glass, and mirrors
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such task as locking doors after operating hours
• Put in for supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Other miscellaneous tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Experience in custodial work
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals and proper handling

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods
• Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to communicate with guests and employees, including reading, writing, and speaking
