Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a team member to support store operations in Illinois. The role involves coordinating daily upkeep, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean, safe environment across departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, and Apparel.

You will participate in parking lot and inside store tasks while supporting service desk and checkout areas. The position emphasizes organization, communication, physical stamina, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting.

What You'll be Doing:

• Normal Shift: 7/8AM - 1:30PM/2:30PM
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location. $15.00 - $15.00
