Job summary

SSC Services For Education seeks a Janitor Lead in Terrell, TX to supervise custodial teams and oversee training activities. The role requires prior janitorial and supervisory experience and offers full-time hours with a competitive hourly rate.

Location is Terrell ISD, with other district locations possible. The position includes benefits and opportunities for growth within SSC and Compass Group.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial and supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs classroom? training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
• C conducts one-on-one training as needed.
• Updates and provides training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Copies training material and revises material as needed; conducts administrative tasks as requested.
• Provides feedback on new associates during orientation period; reviews trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
• Provides recommendations to training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Performs reviews, e.g., monthly safety performance review, to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management and other applicable requirements.
• Performs walk-through building inspections as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
