Job summary

SSC Services For Education is hiring immediately for a full-time JANITOR LEAD at Westfield Washington Schools, 1143 East 181st Street, Westfield, IN 46074. Schedule is 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with flexibility for other district locations.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial and supervisory experience preferred.
• Full-time schedule with shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
• Location at Westfield Washington Schools and possibly other district sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train janitorial staff to meet safety and company standards.
• Oversee classroom and site cleanliness, equipment use, and PPE handling.
• Assist in administrative tasks and performance reviews.

We are hiring immediately for a full time JANITOR LEAD position.

Schedule: Full time schedule; days may vary, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. More details upon interview.(Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)

Requirement: Prior janitorial and supervisory experience is preferred.

Fixed Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.


• Conducts one‑on‑one training as needed.


• Updates and provides training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.


• Copies training material and revises material as needed; conducts administrative tasks as requested.


• Provides feedback on new associates during orientation period; reviews trainee records to ensure successful compliance.


• Provides recommendations to training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.


• Performs reviews, i.e., monthly safety performance review, in order to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management and other applicable company/federal/state/local requirements and policies.


• Performs walk‑through building inspections as required.


• Performs other duties as assigned.
