Austin Industrial is seeking a Janitor Journeyman to maintain clean, safe facilities at our industrial sites in the United States. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, wax, and dispose of waste while keeping equipment and areas orderly and pest-free.

You must meet basic requirements: previous janitorial or custodial experience in industrial settings, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures. We value reliability, safety, and attention to detail.

• Experience – Previous janitorial or custodial experience in the industrial industry.
• Certification/License – Any Photo ID Acceptable.

Janitor Journeyman

Must ensure the buildings are tidy, clean and well-maintained.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Comply with company Safety Policies and Procedures

• Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment

Physical Requirements

Job conditions require standing, walking, sitting, twisting, stooping, couching, kneeling, working in confined spaces, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs, pushing and/or pulling up to 50lbs, climbing up to 200ft, perceiving color differences, ability to wear personal protective equipment (beards not permitted), and strenuous physical activity.

Qualifications Required For This Position

Education – no minimum education requirements.

Experience – Previous janitorial or custodial experience in the industrial industry. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work on foot for extended periods. Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Certification/License – Any Photo ID Acceptable.
