Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is seeking a reliable Janitor who will carry out general sanitation in accordance with established quality and safety procedures. The role operates and maintains specialized cleaning equipment and communicates status of assignments to the Support Leader.

Duties include cleaning production work areas, outside premises and warehouse spaces, mopping, sanitizing machinery, walls and floors, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general sanitation in accordance with quality and safety procedures and policies; operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment; communicate status of assignment to the Support Leader; may be exposed to strong cleaning chemicals/solvents; complete all applicable documentation.
• Clean production work areas, outside premises and warehouse as assigned; mop, sanitize machinery, clean walls, floors, production rooms and storage areas.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

The Janitor has the accountability for accurately carrying out general sanitation tasks in accordance with established quality and safety procedures and policies. This position has no supervisory authority.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Janitor consist of but are not limited to:

• Responsible for carrying out general sanitation in accordance with established quality and safety procedures and policies. Operates and maintains specialized cleaning equipment. Communicates status of assignment with Support Leader. May be exposed to strong cleaning chemicals/solvents Completes all applicable documentation
• Responsible for cleaning production work areas, outside premises and warehouse as assigned. Other duties consist of mopping, sanitizing machinery, cleaning walls, floors, production rooms, and storage areas.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required

Starting Pay: $18.40/hr., We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits.
