Job summary

Triple-S Steel is seeking a dependable Janitorial/Housekeeping associate to keep the warehouse clean, safe, and orderly. You will perform general cleaning, minor maintenance, restroom sanitation, and supply upkeep while following safety practices.

This role requires at least one year of janitorial experience, knowledge of cleaning solutions, and the ability to perform basic repairs. You will report safety concerns to the supervisor and support daily operations with courteous service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of workplace safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete work thoroughly and consistently.
• Ability to perform basic repairs and safely operate tools or equipment used for routine maintenance.
• Ability to maintain clean, organized, and orderly work areas.
• Professional, polite, and courteous when interacting with employees and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in common areas throughout the facility.
• Complete minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing light fixtures or clearing clogged pipes.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, cafeteria areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Perform limited groundskeeping duties, including mowing, trimming lawns and hedges, and clearing snow from sidewalks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized janitor's room and ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are properly stocked.
• Inspect facility areas for safety hazards and report deficiencies or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Follow Triple-S safe work practices at all times and promptly report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.

Overview

The Janitorial/Housekeeping position helps maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment through routine cleaning, sanitation, minor maintenance, and supply upkeep. This role supports daily operations by following safety practices, reporting facility concerns, and providing courteous, professional service.

Compensation Range: $18-$22/hr.
