Job summary

Advanced Building Maintenance, Inc. in Reno, NV, is seeking an entry-level Janitor to help keep commercial and medical spaces clean and welcoming. The role focuses on routine cleaning, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, and supporting facility teams to maintain safety and hygiene.

You will work Monday to Friday, 6 pm to 12 am, at 8025 S Virginia St, Reno. The position offers health benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for growth within a professional team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all common areas, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handrails, light switches, and elevator buttons.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and medical waste according to established guidelines.
• Refill dispensers for soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when supplies need to be reordered.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning meeting rooms and event spaces as necessary.
• Collaborate with maintenance and facility teams to address any issues related to building cleanliness and safety.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Other tasks and projects requested by the customer and/or Advanced Building Maintenance, Inc team.
