Job summary

SSC Services For Education is seeking a school cleaning specialist for Rogers, AR. The role involves maintaining clean facilities, cleaning floors, rugs, walls, windows and related surfaces to support a safe learning environment.

Location: Rogers, AR. Pay is $15.64 per hour with full-time and part-time scheduling options. Applicants should be reliable, with the ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp-mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in the correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment. Sanitizes all surfaces and follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for students and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refines floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Full‑time and part‑time positions. Monday through Friday. Hours may vary. Flexibility is available for most scheduling needs.
