Job Summary

Summary: Keep buildings clean and orderly. Perform heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and return them to proper places.
• Clean assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment, sanitize all surfaces, and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Follow all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to the team and maintain professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
