Job summary

SSC Services For Education seeks a reliable janitor to support China Spring High School and district sites in Texas. Responsibilities include heavy cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and maintaining safe, orderly facilities during school hours and after events.

Flexible full- or part-time schedules are available, with background checks required and competitive compensation. On-site work at multiple district locations, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• 6 months of janitorial experience preferred.
• Background check required for employment.
• Openings at multiple locations within the school district.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time JANITOR positions.
• Location: China Spring High School - 7301 North River Crossing, China Spring, TX 76633. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: 6 months of prior janitorial experience is preferred. We will consider for employment all qualified applicants. Candidates' employment is subject to a background check.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $12.50 per hour.

Job Summary
