Job summary

ESFM is recruiting for a full-time JANITOR position at the Medtronic facility in Swedesboro, NJ. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm. No experience is required; training will be provided.

The role pays $20.00 per hour and requires adherence to cleaning protocols and safety guidelines. This ESFM unit is part of Compass Group USA, delivering facility management and janitorial services to life science and manufacturing clients.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly; performs heavy cleaning duties.
• Cleans floors, walls, glass and removes rubbish.
• Dusts and damp mops floors; moves and rearranges furniture for cleaning.
• Sanitizes surfaces and follows eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards; maintains a safe environment.
• Seeks out areas needing cleaning and completes tasks as assigned.
• Performs tasks per federal, state and local guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpets.
• Contributes to team and maintains professionalism with staff and customers.

• Requirement : No experience is necessary. Willing to train!


• Fixed Pay Rate : $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.


• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.


• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.


• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.


• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.


• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.


• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.


• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.


• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.


• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.


• Performs other duties as assigned.
