Janitor – Full Time

We are hiring immediately for full‑time janitor positions at SSC Services for Education, a division of Compass Group. This role involves maintaining clean, safe, and orderly facilities for students and staff.

Location: TAMU Tarleton Jn – 503 North Neblett Avenue, Stephenville, TX 76401. Openings at other locations within the school district are available.

Schedule: Full‑time Monday‑Friday shifts: 4:00 am – 12:30 pm, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, or 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm. Flexible scheduling to meet most needs.

Pay: $11.00 to $14.50 per hour.

Requirements: Prior janitorial experience preferred. Must be able to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors, sanitize all surfaces, and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and return them to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Work as part of a team, exhibiting professionalism with customers, employees, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
