Job summary

ESFM, the facilities management division, advertises a full-time janitor position in Robstown, TX. The role involves cleaning, trash removal, and sanitizing work areas with a standard eight-step cleaning process. Training is provided; prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and place back in correct placement.
• Sanitize surfaces using assigned materials and the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture and baseboards to maintain a clean, safe environment for staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor; follows federal/state/county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpets.
• Contributes to the team; maintains professionalism with customers and coworkers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
