Job Details

• Location: Pittston, PA 18640
• Schedule: Full time; Wednesday - Saturday night shift
• Requirement: Janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and mop floors using approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and restore to correct placement.
• Clean assigned areas with designated materials and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
