ESFM is hiring a full-time janitor for our Kohler, WI location at 200 Twin Oaks Road. The role involves heavy cleaning duties, floor shampooing, window washing, trash disposal, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment. Experience in janitorial work is required.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am. Applicants should be able to work independently and as part of a team; online applications are accepted only.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place back in correct position.
• Clean assigned areas with designated materials and sanitize all surfaces.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Identify areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinishes floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.

• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
