Eurest USA in Indianapolis, IN is hiring for a full-time JANITOR position at a fixed pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Location: Delta - 7800 Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial. Schedule varies; must work holidays and weekends. Applications accepted online only.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly; performs heavy cleaning duties including floors and rugs.
• Collects and disposes of trash per procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and place back in correct placement.
• Clean areas with assigned materials; sanitize surfaces per eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards to maintain a clean environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisor; follow federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Exhibit professionalism with customers and coworkers; perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
