Job summary

ESFM, a division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a full-time janitor in Eatontown, NJ. The role involves routine cleaning duties across facilities, with shifts Monday–Friday and two daily time windows. Training is provided, no prior experience required.

Fixed pay rate is $19.00 per hour. The position emphasizes a safe, healthy, and clean environment aligned with hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back correctly.
• Clean assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment; sanitize surfaces.
• Wash walls, windows and furniture to maintain a clean environment.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks promptly.
• Complete all tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Follow all federal, state and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to the team with professionalism toward customers and coworkers.

• Requirement: No experience is necessary. Willing to train!
• Fixed Pay Rate:$19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces. Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
