Job summary

CCS Facility Services in California is hiring a Janitor to maintain common areas in office buildings, apartments, or other facilities. The role includes on-call night shifts starting around 4:30 PM with 8–40 hours weekly, depending on shift availability.

You will perform basic cleaning tasks, inspect exteriors, manage restrooms, lobby doors, and trash, and help keep the premises tidy and safe for tenants and visitors. Training provided, with varied schedules.

Qualifications

• Spots clean the lobby glass doors.
• Polish chrome on lobby doors.
• Vacuum elevator cabs and wipe cab doors, walls, and tops twice a day.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the building exterior and pick up any trash.
• Clean ashtrays and sand urns on every floor.
• Empty and clean exterior trash receptacles.
• Check restrooms twice daily.
• Vacuum lobby once a day or as needed.
• Sweep stairwells and landings as needed.
• Remove all debris from landscaped areas as needed.

A Janitor is responsible for maintaining common areas of office buildings, apartment houses, or other commercial or institutional buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties:

Work Schedule

On- Call for varying NIGHT shift(s) Time: Start time may vary depending on shift availability 4:30 PM and later. Hours per week vary: 8-40 hrs. weekly Depends on employee availably and shift availability.
