Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor for a morning shift. The role involves cleaning and preserving assigned areas inside client sites, with flexible duties based on client specifications. The position offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with a pay rate of $14 per hour.

Typical schedule is 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours per week. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial experience; on-the-job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or at least 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces via sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and objects.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage disposal; operate a compactor as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot-clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Restock paper products and sanitary supplies; follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned per client needs.

Job Description

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned area inside a particular building or multiple client sites. Exact tasks of janitorial crew are not definite, consequently, must be flexible in performing assigned duties per client's specifications.

$14 / hr

6a-11a Mon-Fri 35 hrs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position
