Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC in Brownsville, Texas is hiring immediately for a Janitor/Custodian to maintain cleanrooms and general facilities in a food manufacturing setting, following GMP and safety procedures. The role requires dependability, team orientation, and the ability to work independently on first shift.

Responsibilities include following written instructions, handling cleaning chemicals securely, adhering to MSDS/SDS, and participating in departmental meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be a team player with a 'can do' attitude.
• Should possess basic mechanical skills.
• Must be able to read and understand MSDS/SDS sheets.
• Must be able to work in hot, dusty areas.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and carry 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Knows basic cleaning skills and must be able to follow written work instructions.
• Performs all duties with minimal supervision requirements.
• Must be able to prioritize duties.
• All cleaning chemicals and supplies must be stored in a locked/secured area.
• Must be able to read and understand MSDS/SDS sheets.
• Must have a working knowledge of Duro glass policy and blood borne pathogen policy.
• Must follow all SQF and cleaning program procedures.
• Must be able to follow all Lock Out Tag-Out procedures.
• Keeps all work areas and machines in good manufacturing housekeeping condition at all times.
• Inform shift Supervisors or managers of problems that may arise.
• Performs all other duties or tasks as required by supervision.
• Must attend departmental meetings (unless on vacation or approved by supervision).
• Must follow all company rules that pertain to Confidential Information.

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: JANITOR/CUSTODIAN IN BROWNSVILLE, TX

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Janitor/Custodian to join our team in Brownsville, Texas. This individual will be responsible for maintaining equipment and work areas to the highest standards while following food safety, GMP, and sanitation procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently in a team environment.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• $12.00/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 1st Shift: 6:45am to 3:00pm
• Located in Brownsville, Texas

• Must be able to work with boom lift /not afraid of heights
• Must be capable of standing for long periods of times
• Must be able to lift 50lbs (up to 3ft. off ground) and carry 50lbs. (up to 5ft distance)
• Must have basic troubleshooting abilities
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
