Job description

As a Janitorial Associate, you'll play a key role in keeping our warehouse and facilities clean, safe, and running smoothly. You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment for both team members and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning bag good aisles to ensure a safe and clutter-free space
• Removing and disposing of empty cardboard throughout the warehouse
• Operating equipment to make cardboard bales
• Sweeping and vacuuming assigned aisles
• Picking up broken pallets, cardboard, and general trash
• Removing damaged products and transporting them to the designated damage area
• Cleaning and maintaining stairwells
• During inclement weather, shoveling snow, spreading ice melt, and maintaining safe sidewalks
• Cleaning bathrooms, office areas, breakrooms, and other common spaces
• Emptying trash cans and recycling bins
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of housekeeping supplies
• Sanitizing high-touch surfaces such as door handles, handrails, and phones
• Cleaning interior windows
• Always maintaining a safe and clean work environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional shifts and hours (including weekends and holidays if needed)
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety
• Ability to work independently and follow directions
• Comfortable performing physical tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs.
