Job summary

Mac Haik Ford Lincoln Hyundai in Victoria seeks a reliable Janitor to maintain clean, welcoming facilities. You will perform floor cleaning, surface sanitizing, waste disposal, and restroom upkeep while ensuring safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Qualifications

• Commercial janitorial experience preferred.
• Pre-employment screening required.
• Authorization to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Floor care including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and carpet cleaning.
• Surface care including dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing.
• Waste removal such as emptying of trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas as well as replacing the trash liners.
• Clean sinks, toilets, countertops, microwaves, refrigerators and trash receptacles.
• Light maintenance including replacement of light bulbs, restocking supply cabinets, supply room, breakrooms and bathrooms.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Safe operation of ladders, step stools and cleaning chemicals.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive group brand.
