Job summary

Magna International Limited in Liberty, Missouri, is seeking a Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe manufacturing environment. You will clean production areas, offices, break rooms, and restrooms, and operate a floor scrubber as needed.

Starting pay is $20.70/hr plus a $2.00/hr C-Shift Premium, with the listed schedule Friday-Saturday 5:15 AM–3:45 PM and Sunday-Monday 5:15 PM–3:45 AM. Benefits are available Day One, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• No prior janitorial experience required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to operate a floor scrubber or willingness to learn.
• Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
• Ability to work effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain production areas, offices, break areas, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, disinfect, and sanitize work areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
• Operate a floor scrubber daily.
• Clean plant equipment as needed.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Respond to spills and other workplace hazards using the appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Properly handle and dispose of contaminated waste according to established safety procedures.
• Maintain janitorial supplies and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Follow required PPE, safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
