Merchants Building Maintenance Company is seeking reliable staff for part-time 2nd and 3rd shift cleaning roles in Bastrop, TX. You will perform a wide range of cleaning tasks across office spaces, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring sanitary and presentable environments.

Responsibilities include waste removal, restocking supplies, and maintaining safety standards while working as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Medical and dental benefits are available as part of the role.

Qualificações

• Experience performing building cleaning tasks per standard procedures.
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow safety rules.
• Willingness to work part-time on 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsabilidades

• Empty and clean waste containers and maintain restrooms.
• Stock restrooms with paper supplies and hand soap.
• Handle emergency clean ups such as bodily fluids and waste.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, fixtures, and glass.
• Vacuum carpets and clean hard floor areas in lobbies and offices.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces and maintain tidy common areas.
• Follow safety rules and company policies during all tasks.

Job Skills / Requirements

• Empty and clean all waste containers
• Stock restrooms with paper supplies and hand soap
• Handle emergency clean ups such as bodily fluids and waste
• Remove waste paper, garbage and recycling from the premises to selected area; damp wipe containers
• Empty and clean all ashtrays, monitor all sand urns supply and restore sand as required
• Dust all image frames, charts, graphs and wall hangings from high to low heights
• Dust the outside surfaces of light fixtures, together with glass and plastic enclosures
• Vacuum all mats and carpeted areas in workplace, lobbies and corridors
• Hand dust and clean all office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills and all other flat surfaces
• Keep slop sink rooms in a dirt free, tidy and arranged condition
• Wipe, clean, buff and polish all metal hardware fixtures
• Appropriately clean tile floor services as required
• Follow all safety and workers rules and regulations
• Damp wipe and buff all glass furnishings and
• Dust and/or wash all index boards as necessary, eliminate fingerprints and smudges
• Clean entry door glass indoors and outer surface
• Brush or dust mop restroom and common area floors
• Clean or damp mop exterior entry areas
• Remove all stains from vertical surfaces such as doors, door frames, around light switches, private entrance glass, and dividers
• Wash, clean, and sterilize all water coolers/refrigerators
• Keep watch over stairwells and clean or damp mop spillage
• Damp, wash or clean any spillage in office and community areas as necessary
• Disinfect all touch points and areas that need to be disinfected
