Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support our distribution center operations. You will operate tugger to empty trash cans, bale cardboard, and use powered equipment while maintaining safety and efficiency.

The role requires the ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and to pass pre-employment testing including drug and background checks. Sunday–Thursday, 5:00am–1:30pm shifts are available in a nationwide warehouse network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate tugger throughout warehouse emptying trash cans.
• Bale cardboard: learn to operate the baler safely and keep area clean.
• Operate forklift and scissor lift for housekeeping tasks.
• Drive Tennant floor scrubber; learn to operate it safely and keep it clean.
• Clean up all spills; able to be certified for hazmat cleanup.
• Empty trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clean warehouse areas and bathrooms.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and best practices.
• All other duties as assigned.

16.60 - $20.80 per hour

Primary job responsibilities include:

• Operate tugger throughout warehouse emptying trash cans
• Bale cardboard: requires ability to learn to properly operate the baler, including keeping it clean and in safe condition
• Operate forklift and scissor lift to perform various housekeeping tasks
• Drive Tennant floor scrubber throughout warehouse; requires the ability to learn to properly operate the scrubber, including keeping it clean and in safe condition
• Clean up all spills; requires the ability to be certified in cleaning up hazardous chemicals
• Empty trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, clean windows, clean warehouse break rooms and bathrooms
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and best practices
• All other duties as assigned
