freshexpress is seeking a diligent Janitor / Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of employee service areas including locker rooms, restrooms, hallways, and the cafeteria. The role involves cleaning floors, sanitation tasks, and occasional lifting to meet daily needs.

Responsibilities include using cleaning solutions, inspecting areas for cleanliness, standing for extended periods, and performing other duties as required by supervision.

Qualifications

• Know and apply the basic 7 steps of sanitation.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and cleaning products.
• Willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Meet required testing frequencies in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of standing for long periods during shifts.
• Bending and stooping repeatedly are required.
• Lifting and dumping up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Keep floors in Employee Service Areas dry and debris-free throughout the shift.
• Use chemical solutions to kill microorganisms and assist cleaning.
• Stand for long periods and perform bending/stooping as needed.
• Lift and dump up to 50 pounds safely.
• Inspect designated areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Description du poste

The Janitor / Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of all the employee service areas that includes locker/restrooms, hallways, small bathrooms, and the employee cafeteria, outside employee break area, floors, and offices. The janitor / housekeeper is also responsible for performing sanitor's functions as needed.

Job Function Statements Essential Functions:

• Responsible for keeping all floors in the Employee Service Areas dry and free of debris throughout the shift.
• Using chemical solutions to help kill microorganisms and make cleaning easier.
• Must be capable of bending and stooping repeatedly throughout the work shift.
• Lifting and dumping of 50 pounds
• Inspects and assure designated areas are clean
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Possess knowledge, training, and aptitude on the basic 7 steps of sanitation
• Possess the ability to read and interpret documents that include safety rules, and cleaning products
• Work overtime, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Meet all required testing frequencies (detailed, fast-paced work).
• Be capable of standing for long periods of time.
• Bending and stooping repeatedly throughout the work shift is required
• Lifting and dumping up to 50 pounds
