Catholic Charities of Central Washington is seeking a dependable Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming 73-unit housing property, Casa de la Mora. You will handle cleaning, basic maintenance, and on-call emergencies to support residents and visitors.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, prior janitorial experience, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; English/Spanish bilingual preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, with competitive hourly pay and full benefits.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our newly built 73-unit housing property. This community is designed to support low-income individuals, adults with disabilities, and young adults formerly homeless. The Janitor will be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, assisting in creating a respectful and comfortable living environment for residents and visitors.
The following requirements are those that are normally required for the performance of this position. This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring moderate physical exertion, talking, and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirement. These physical demands are required up to 90% of the time. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and reach heights of 8 feet with the aid of a ladder. No fear of heights (24 feet or more).
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Wage Range: $17.13 - $20.00 hourly, depending on experience
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm; available for on-call emergencies
Work Location: Casa de la Mora (73 units)
