Job summary

Viking Forge is seeking a janitor to support daily cleaning tasks at our Ohio facility. You will follow the printed schedule, maintain cleanliness in work areas, and ensure supplies are stocked and organized for the next shift. A reliable transportation method is required.

External and internal screening is part of the onboarding process, including a 5-panel drug screen and orientation. This role supports a safety‑driven culture with emphasis on cleanliness and workplace standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow printed work schedule for work tasks
• Clean work areas, including picking up rags, hangers, clothing or other items out of place
• Communicate verbally with next shift janitor to share status of supplies
• Put shared supplies back into the janitor's closet
• Empty mop buckets at end of shift and return them to the janitor's closet
• Stock restrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, and soap at the end of each shift
• Monitor breakroom and replace cup, paper towel, silverware, and condiment supplies
