The role focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment on client sites through routine cleaning, waste removal, and attention to quality standards. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Willingness to travel as required by client sites.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean work environment.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and manage waste.
• Empty trash and manage waste disposal, including recycling per guidelines.
• Clean tables, counters, and appliances in breakrooms and common areas.
• Adhere to safety procedures and report hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
• Meet quality standards and complete all tasks per scope of work with consistency.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, professional behavior on client sites, and responsiveness to feedback.

Job Details

The janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly environment. This includes routine cleaning, waste removal, and ensuring all assigned areas meet company and client standards.

General Cleaning Duties

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.

Restroom Maintenance

• Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and counters.
• Refill supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper)
• Empty trash and maintain odor control.

Trash & Waste Removal

• Collect and dispose of trash from all designated areas
• Replace liners in trash receptacles
• Handle recycling according to guidelines.

Breakroom / Common Areas

• Clean tables, countertops, and appliances (microwave, refrigerator, sink)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization..

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety procedures and client guidelines.
• Use cleaning chemicals properly and safely.
• Report hazards, damages, or maintenance issues promptly.
• Reports to: Supervisor / Area Manager
• May be required to submit reports or photos of completed work.

Quality Standards

• Complete all assigned tasks per scope of work
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail
• Ensure all areas meet client expectations and inspection standards.
