Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time janitorial team member in a morning shift. The role includes cleaning floor surfaces, restrooms, and common areas, with weekly pay at $16.00 per hour.

Training is provided, and candidates may have six months of janitorial experience or a prior high school diploma or equivalent. The position involves following cleaning procedures, using chemical cleaners and equipment, and supporting a clean, safe facility environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash and use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and backpacks vacuums
• Other duties as assigned per scope of work or customer needs

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing

Preferred Qualifications (nice To Have)

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
• Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
