Wegmans in Morrisville, NC is seeking a dedicated store maintenance team member to keep the store clean, safe, and inviting for customers and employees. Your work includes cleaning and maintenance projects that support a seamless shopping experience and uphold Wegmans' standards.

You will promptly respond to maintenance calls, address spills or hazards, and assist customers with questions, contributing to a positive, well-run store environment.

Qualifications

• Custodial/janitorial experience.
• Customer service experience preferably in food service, grocery or retail.
• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment: The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, lifting, bending, and reaching, including reaching and lifting above shoulder height, and working with cleaning chemicals and materials, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers. The average weight range of items lifted is 5 – 20 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of 50 pounds rarely. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting.May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction).The work environment is indoors with some seasonal outdoor temperatures and weather.
