Job summary

Flagship Facility Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain clean and safe client facilities in a fast-paced environment in California. The role requires basic safety training and flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

The job entails routine cleaning, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, spill response, and operation of cleaning equipment. Health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, and opportunities for advancement are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Completion of significant safety training is required.
• Experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work is desirable.
• Flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, are required.
• 6+ months experience in janitorial work is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting various areas within assigned area.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygienic conditions at all times.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies to ensure safety.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with airport security and safety regulations.
• Assist in special cleaning projects as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
