Job summary

Genesis Health Clubs is seeking a dependable custodian to maintain clean facilities. You will perform detailed cleaning tasks such as floors, walls, glass and restrooms, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for guests and staff.

The role requires weekend and evening availability, experience in custodial work, and knowledge of proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Flexible scheduling and health benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals and proper handling.

Responsibilities

• Clean club floors by sweeping, mopping and/or vacuuming.
• Refill all restroom dispensers including locker rooms.
• Sanitize toilets, showers, locker room benches and sinks.
• Gather and empty trash from all locations of the club.
• Clean windows, glass and mirrors.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours.
• Order supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean club floors by sweeping, mopping, and/or vacuuming
• Refill all restroom dispensers including locker rooms
• Clean and sanitize all toilets, showers, locker room benches, and sinks
• Gather and empty trash from all locations of the club
• Clean windows, glass, and mirrors
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such task as locking doors after operating hours
• Put in for supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
• Other miscellaneous tasks as needed

Job Requirements:

• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Experience in custodial work
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals and proper handling

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods
• Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to communicate with guests and employees, including reading, writing, and speaking
