Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation inside client sites. The role requires flexibility for various duties per client specs and offers weekly pay with $18.00–$19.00 per hour pay rate. Shifts include full-time on 1st and 2nd, plus part-time weekends.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom upkeep, trash disposal, window cleaning, carpet care, and following chemical-use procedures. High school diploma or 6 months janitorial exp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Excellent attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and use compactors for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as assigned per scope of work or customer needs.

Job Description

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The Janitor position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned area inside a particular building or multiple client sites. Exact tasks of janitorial crew are not definite, consequently, must be flexible in performing assigned duties per client’s specifications.

Schedule

• Full Time openings on 1st and 2nd shifts
• Part Time openings on weekends

PAY RATE: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Weekly Pay

Qualifications (must Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position
• On the job training will be provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions effectively

Preferred Qualifications (nice To Have)

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
• Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
