Flatrock is seeking dependable janitorial staff to join our growing team. This role floats between one of our 40 care homes in Genesee County, performing deep-cleaning to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

You will operate floor scrubbers and cleaning equipment, follow health and safety standards, and report issues promptly. A high school diploma or GED and reliable transportation are preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Previous custodial/janitorial experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform deep cleaning of all AFC home areas, including resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and hallways.
• Operate and maintain floor scrubbers, carpet extractors, and other cleaning equipment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, strip, wax, and buff floors as required.
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces and disinfect all areas to control the spread of bacteria and viruses.
• Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and company cleaning standards.
